CARDIFF BINGO PLAYER CALLS 'House' ON £50,000 JACKPOT 
 

One lucky local bingo player at Club 3000 Bingo in Cardiff received an unexpected boost to their night bingo, when it became 'super-sized' thanks to winning a life changing £50,000 Jackpot on the National Bingo game.

Julie Hewett, 54, who lives in Cardiff, has fallen in love with bingo over the last four months and now comes regularly with her daughter-in-law: prior to her big win she had no idea you could win so much money at bingo!

On Thursday 26th May while playing at the evening session with friends and family, all her numbers came up on the National Bingo Game. Initially she did not realise that she had scooped the top prize, a whopping £50,000 Jackpot, and was in shock when told by the caller.

Speaking about her win Julie said:
"I am still in shock, this does not happen to people like me - there was an amazing atmosphere in the club: everyone was clapping and cheering. I did not know you could win money like this before starting to play bingo - £50,000 is beyond my wildest dreams!

"Since joining the club I have made so many friends, it is such a great community here, and the fantastic warm staff here at Club 300 have been so welcoming. Winning is a bonus."

Mother of three, Julie intends to use some of her winnings to treat her children, do her garden up and at some point fo on a cruise.



Colin Russell, Manager at Club 3000 Cardiff said:
"The atmosphere in the club was electric on the night of the win, all the customers burst into applause and started cheering, it was very uplifting, which was wonderful.
