Lucky Luton Lady wins £202,005

It was an afternoon to remember on Sunday 26 July, as local lady, Ennet Gardner shouted house to bag an incredible sum of £202,005.31 on the National Bingo Game Jackpot at Mecca Bingo, Luton.

Local lady Ennet, 57 has been a regular club member for many years and was playing with her partner and regular bingo buddy when she was informed that she had won the life-changing sum of money. “I’m so delighted that I’ve won this sum of money. It was a complete surprise and it still hasn’t really sunk in. I haven’t had a chance to think what I will spend the money on but my children and grandchildren will definitely be spoilt!”

Nick Cook, General Manager of Mecca Bingo, Luton says: “It was such a thrill to find out one of our regular players had won the Jackpot. The atmosphere was electric and Ennet and her partner were in complete shock when we told them. I can’t wait to celebrate with them at the upcoming party and hope that they have a fantastic time spending their winnings.”

Club staff members hosted a party on Friday 7th August to celebrate the big win at the club with family, friends and players - it was bubbly and bing all the way.
