LUCKY LOCAL STIRLING BINGO PLAYER CELEBRATES THEIR £50,000 JACKPOT WIN

Carlton Bingo Stirling rolled out the red carpet and bubbles last Saturday night to celebrate one customer's January good fortune: 2019 got off to an amazing start for lucky local bingo player Patricia Church, who saw all her numbers come up on the National Bingo Game, scooping a whopping Jackpot prize of £50,000!

Patricia, 53, was playing bingo on Sunday 13th January at Calton Bingo Stirling, with her best friend and regular bingo buddy Elspeth McCallum (Ellie), when their regular bingo session took an unexpected and exciting turn: Patricia called 'house' on the National Bingo Game. Excited at the thought of having won the Club Prize mother of 
three and grandmother of two, Patricia was not at all prepared for the announcement of her £50,000 Jackpot win.

Jackpot Winner Patricia said:
"I thought I had won £1,000 and was in complete disbelief when I realised I had won £50,000 - I never ever expected to win that! I like bingo and go to get out of the house - who would have thought!"

Patricia was introduced to bingo by her mother many many years ago, but stropped going following her mother's death. It was not until old work colleague and best friend Ellie suggested coming along again that Patricia started going once more and now they meet for a catch up and bingo every week.

Speaking after Saturday's party at the club, following her cheques presentation Patricia said:
"I still can't believe it: £50,000 Jackpot on my first game of bingo this year. I am sharing my good luck with Ellie, so it's £25,000 each. I am going to pay off some debts and then figure out what next, but a holiday is planned. I shall be taking the children and grandchildren away and I think my son's friends may come too - so we shall be nine!"
