Jackpot Winners!

Another lucky Runcorn bingo player at Club 2000 has called 'House' on a life changing £50,000 Jackpot on the National Bingo Game. The lucky player received an unexpected boost to his Monday evening when he became the second player from Club 2000 Runcorn to win the National Bingo Game's top Jackpot prize: six months earlier, to the day, on 4th August 2018 the Club celebrated its first £50,000 winner on the new National Bingo Game, which launched in April that year.

Lucky winner Thomas Durr, 84 year old father, grandfather of seven and great grandfather of one is a regular at the Club, along with wife Ann, and has been a member of Club 2000 Runcorn for over ten years. Introduced to the game by friends many years ago, both he and his wife enjoy playing and going to the Club, as they get to see the many friends they have made over the years.

On Monday 4th February their regular evening session truly became a night to remember, as all Thomas' numbers came up on the National Bingo Game and he scooped a £50,000 Jackpot prize.

Speaking about his win Thomas Durr said:
"The National Bingo Game is the best game in the Club and I always enjoy it. I have won plenty fo times at bingo before, but nowhere neat this amount! When they confirmed my prize I was shocked and a bit overwhelmed, but that quickly changes to feeling ecstatic and very happy." 

Club 2000 Runcorn held a special party to celebrate the win on Monday 18th February, when Thomas was presented with a giant cheque for £50,000. The themed event asked customers to 'Dress To Impress', with a prize offered for the best dressed person on the night.

Speaking at the party Thomas said:
"I am very happy and it has been a wonderful party, seeing everyone dressed up. We have decided that we will be sharing some of our good luck with out children, grandchildren and great grandchild and treating ourselves to a cruise: we are not sure where we are going yet!"

This is the third £50,000 jackpot Win for Club 2000, with the Bedford Club also having had a lucky winner on 24th May.
