Sandra Roberts (67), was playing bingo on Wednesday 3rd July at Opera Bingo Whitehaven, enjoying her regular evening session, when the evening took an unexpected and exciting turn. A regular at the club for many years and a fan of the National Bingo Game , Sandra had had a number fo small wins in the past, but nothing had prepared her for the shock of what was about to happen next: all her numbers came up while playing the National Bingo Game! The club caller confirmed it was a good full house claim and that Sandra had not only won the Club Prize but also a massive £50,000 Jackpot Prize too!

Commenting on her win Sandra said:
"It hasn't really sunk in yet - I can't believe my luck or how much I have won: I am very very happy! I love coming to bingo and would encourage anyone to enjoy an evening out at bingo. I am going to share my good fortune with family and two local charities which I like to support. No big plans yet, but am sure one or two treats are on the cards."
