Kidderminster bingo player calls 'House' on on £50,000 Jackpot

Customers at Shipleys Bingo Kidderminster partied in style at the weekend, as the club put up the balloons and opened the bubbly to celebrate one lucky player winning a life changing Jackpot prize of £50,000 on the National Bingo Game.

Mother of three, Kylie Preece (30), was playing bingo on Thursday 25th July at Shipleys Bingo Kidderminster, enjoying her regular weekly session, when the evening took and unexpected and exciting turn: all Kylie's numbers came up on the National Bingo Game! The club caller confirmed that it was a good full house claim and that not only had Kylie won the Club Prize of £128.00 but also a massive £50,000 Jackpot Prize too! 

On Friday 9th August the team at Shipleys Bingo Kidderminster threw a special party to celebrate Kylie's good luck, with everyone invited to raise a glass.  A regular at the club for more than ten years, Kylie was introduced to bingo by a family friend. 

Speaking at the party on Friday night Kylie said:
"With three children aged 7, 5 and 1 bingo is my night off: a little 'me' time. I come in on my own and really enjoy the friendly atmosphere: I always get a lovely welcome from the staff and regulars."

"When I won I was in shock - I couldn't quite believe it and felt excited and emotional. My partner and me have been saving to get married, so this will help make that happen. After I had won I couldn't wait to tell Dave, the other half."

"It still hasn't really sunk in yet - I can't believe my luck or how much I have won: we are really looking forward to planning our engagement party and wedding, as well as a family holiday and some home decorating."
