Tears of excitement as lucky Kings Lynn Bingo Player calls 'House' on £50,000 Jackpot

Christmas came early this year for one lucky bingo player at Ritz Bingo Kings Lynn, as she called 'house' on a whopping £50,000 Jackpot Prize on the National Bingo Game.

The marries mother of two, grandmother of five and great grandmother of four, who has asked to remain anonymous, was enjoying a night out with two friends Friday 29th November at Ritz Bingo Kings Lynn, when the evening took an unexpected and exciting turn: all her numbers came up on while playing the National Bingo Game! The Lucky winner, a regular at the club, who has previously won the National Bingo Game, assumed that she has won the Club Prize, like her last win, making her surprise at winning the £50,000 Jackpot all the greater. When her friend told her that she thought she had won quite a bit more than the Club Prize, she was not sure and asked how much, but when the Caller on the night then confirmed it was the £50,000 Jackpot she was shocked!

The lucky winner commented,
"I have won the National Bingo Game Club Prize before so just expected that prize, but then my friend said I think you won some extra money other than the house price, I said have I? How much? £5,000 she said. Then James the Caller announced I had won £50,000. I just couldn't believe it and just cried. It's still sinking in really I don't know what to do."

"I will never forget the day I won, as it was my granddaughter's 18th Birthday too: now she is old enough maybe I will bring her and introduce her to bingo. I used to come with my mum and she played into her 90s and just loved it and so do I. I love my weekly bingo and enjoy dabbing my tickets: it keeps your mind active and if you win it's a bonus."




The lucky winner has made no big decisions regarding how she will spend her winnings, but expects to treat family and friends and celebrate her her husband of 65 years.
